Awards Program Overview

There are many opportunities for Vizient MidSouth members to win awards. Please see below for details.

Brilliance Awards (formerly Leadership Awards Program)
  • Purpose: To recognize innovative projects and leading best practices by member organizations through an abstract submission process.
  • Submission Process: Organizations at the facility or system level must submit an abstract online for consideration. The abstract submission timeline will be two times per year - one for Vizient's Clinical Connections Summit in the fall and one for Vizient's Supplier Connections Summit in the spring. Vizient MidSouth members that submit abstracts will automatically be entered into Vizient MidSouth's Brilliance Awards Program for 2018.
  • Selection Process: Submitted abstracts will be reviewed, and if selected, will be asked to participate in a rapid-fire presentation or present a poster.
  • Criteria: Abstracts must describe an improvement project or an innovation based on application criteria.
  • Recipients: Vizient MidSouth Brilliance awards (regional) will be presented at the facility or system level for each category.
  • Recognition: National recognition will occur at Vizient's Clinical Connections Summit and Supplier Connections Summit, and regional awards will be presented later in 2018.
